Over half a million MGBs, from 1963 (actually late '62) till late 1980.

However, Roland and I live and work in the same basic area, and I've
noticed that most of the L?Cs I've seen have been TR6s too.  For the
past two weeks, I've seen maybe a dozen -- more than Miatas, more than
MGs, more than VW Cabriolets.  

You don't suppose these cars have a flocking instinct?
