Get a carpet set from

Classic Auto Interiors
Kit Turnier
Buford Highway
Doraville, GA
(404) 458 3188

They supply TRF with their "medium grade" nylon carpets. I'm in the
midst of installing a set in my 4A, and they're great. You'll probably
want to get a new set of jute/nylon pads from TRF, as only the footwell
pieces come with their own padding.

But your car expects to get wet from time to time - remember, it was
built in Britain! It always amazes me that cars that came from a
country that is so wet and has such lousy weather have such terrible
equipment for sealing the moisture out. (And driving in the rain is
great fun. Just keep the speed above 30mph and you'll stay dry.)

What you really need is a tonneau cover - they're quick and easy to
close up whenever you park the car. Not only do they keep the
inevitable rain out, they keep the dust down, protect the interior from
birds, and keep prying eyes out. And if someone *really* wants to steal
your car or radio, they'll damage the $150 cover instead of the top...
