I use a Castrol 80W-90 and/or Castrol 90 in my Overdrives. Works well.

Sure
>What else should we go looking for that would cause "slipping?"
If you drain the oil from the OD Unit look what's else at the magnetic ring
under the oil pump. Should be no metal there. 10K before the OD of my Spit
exploded I say the first small metal parts appearing there.
