And who can forget that famous National Lampoon ad that show a beetle
floating in the water, and caption said:

"If Ted Kennedy drove a Volkswagen, he'd be president today!"

It was a spoof ad, but nothing indicated that, and VWoA threatened to
sue unless it was pulled from the newsstands, which it was.
