I am planning a long trip in a month and want to know what spares or
unusual items I should be carrying. The trip will be from Hobart (Tasmania,
Australia) to Sydney (New South Wales) about 3000Km return. (Tasmania,
being an island, is connected to mainland Australia by ferry, so I won't
need a large rubber raft). I'll be travelling in my Moke, which is pretty
unpleasant at high speed with the roof up so unless it is raining I'll be
'au natural'. Great you say, but don't forget that July is the depths of
the southern winter.
