I can't place the hint but the Jaguar MK-I was a VERY early
monocoque.  So early in fact that the strength of the design
was in question - witness the size of the windscreen and
window posts.  I may not get the coveted 10 SOL points but
I can't be far from the right dates.

As to the weirder comment,  I completely agree.  Same is 
probably true of life!

Hey, while we're talking about weird things and self abuse,
I have a '76 Jaguar XJS in about 15,000 pieces.  Any takers?
