I don't know if they are still available, but I have Bridgestone RE-71r tires
in 185/60/13 on 13x6 American Racing Magnesium rims. Lightweight, stick
pretty durn good, and the tires were about $65 on sale. These tires are
almost as sticky as some of the autox compounds that Yokohama and BFG make.
The 185/60/13 has no trouble clearing frames or fenders on the round arches
of a bugeye.
