I'm taking off for Phoenix on Thursday in my Midget but the carb needs to be
properlt jetted (its an SK 40DBS, venturi=30, main jet=125, air corrector=170,
emulsion tube=F11, idle jet=45/100 (50F9 equivalent), accelerator pump jet
=50).I mean the carb needs to be properly jetted. But the best mechanic here
is fulybooked for the next 7 days, I can't wait that long so I was wondering if
you
guys in and aropund the bay area could recomend a place i could take it to on
my way down. I will be staying overnight with a friend in Santa Cruz. One
place
in SC is "the engine showroom" anyone had dealings with them?
Anyway i would be grateful if you recomend a place you feel could do
this, a full rolling road tune-up would be best BUT I'm not getting paid at the
moment so $$ are somewhat of a concern (I'm not too proud to accept any
donations however!!).
Of course in any of you bay area people have a supply of weber jets
and are used to jetting these types of carbs why don't we conect??
please send replies to me as I'm off the list until I move.

Cheers DW dwilson@oregon.uoregon.edu

BTW, I think the car is running alittle lean as the idle screws are about 3
turns out and it runs alittle more smoothly with the choke (actually a cold
start valve) is open a small way.
