Actually, after taking that car completely apart, I can say that it definitely
has a Twin Cam chassis, body, and suspension. It may have different front
fenders. The transmission is MGA, but the engine was MGB (which, if I can't
find a TwinCam engine, is what I would want in it anyway). Considering the
small number of these cars that were made, I think it unlikely that this car
is a conglomeration of serveral cars. What likely happened was someone blew
up the engine in it, and decided to replace it with one that was readily
available.
