Folks,
It's finally happened. I've landed a real sponsor. They've
agreed to give me a terriffic deal on a rebuilt engine in exchange for some
advertising space on the side of the car. So now I have several choices.
The first is to put the engine (a CC series TR-250/early TR-6 engine) into my
late TR-6 or to come up with another TR-6 an build an IT/DSP car.
Each has it advantages and disadvantages, which I won't go into here,
but the long and short of it is that I'd ideally like to find another TR-6
which I could call a 69-72 (once you remove the bumpers there's little
difference aside from the engine) for cheap. Rusted is OK. Engineless is OK.
Topless, etc is OK. The main objective here is $$$. Living out in the boonies
with no social life means that I definitly have lot's of time and little
cash.
So, if anyone has any leads on a TR-6 in suitable project condition,
lemme know. I'd prefer something in the midwest, but for the right amount,
I'll travel far and wide. I'll even be willing to sell some more space on the
side of the car.....
