        well, if alliant isn't willing to have their name on the SOL identifier,
what about some other machine that is registered with the net gods, and just
happens to have an alias that forwards to b-c@allaiant and b-c-request@alliant?
Some hapless systems administrator could handle any wayward requests. That 
gives us a recognizable address for the net-wise.
