For any of you going that are hardware store junkies, Boulder has THE best
hardware store I have ever seen (The second best being in Sacramento Ca).
Its called McGukins hardware. Its the alices restrant of hardware stores.
OTHER
1. I have recently aquired a set of Panasport wheels from a Lotus 46. They are
4 lug 13" wheels. The spokes are a dark gray. I think they are Panasport but
do not know the difference between Panasports & Minilites. Having a lot of
magnesium in the wheels they have oxidized grayish. Anyone have an idea what
these wheels are worth?? They are for sale. Being a four bolt pattern from
a Lotus 46, wha6t else will they fit?minis, Spits????
2. While I am thinking of it, I have some other parts taking up space & would
be open for offers for the following:
TR3 Transmission - used, was working when removed from TR
Bonnet for pre TS-60000 TR3 - Exellent condition, white
Bonnet for Long door TR2 (four slots)- no dents but some surface rust
Boot lid TR3A with handle, looks good but has had previous rust repair with
glassfibre. white cheap
Complete tail light assemblies- fits Big Healeys and Land Rovers
Land Rover transmission -cheap, one tooth mossing in first gear. Have spare
gears.
16" Land Rover wheels, qty 5
Available later- 60 spoke 15" painted wire wheels, qty 4. Fits TRs & big Healeys
They are currently on the TR3 & will be available when I get a set of repro
minilites.
3. Has anyone in the NorthWest received a flyer about the Portland all British
meet yet???? I usualy get one in the mail but have not seen one yet. I would
like to pre reg for the event.
