The carb can only go on in the same position as the
OEM unit assuming it doesn't have an aftermarket 4 bbl
manifold on it, then a special adapter plate is
required dependent on which manifold it is since some
work better if the carb is positioned forward 'x'
amount of its centerline, and assuming you have the
same instructions I do and the carb came standard with
the Chrysler throttle extension as mine did, then
following the instructions puts the ball at the proper
point, which should be the forward of the two
positions on the carb's main throttle arm.

At this point in time I don't recall, but apparently I
bought either a Holley or aftermarket solenoid bracket
and installed all the extra parts from the OEM unit to
get it to work properly.
