Thanks to all for the help with parts questions. 1628 now has a new Holley 2
bl
(4412) carb and new fuel pump from Napa. Did have some install issues however,
hope to hear some advice on the following:
My supplier didn't ship a throttle ball so my installer crafted a sol'n to get
me on the
road. As it now is, it runs fine but the throttle seems to stick down (if I'm
too heavy
on the gas it revs out until I shift into neutral). I'm in the process of
getting the right
throttle ball but it looks as if my carb is too far back (too close to the fire
wall).
Has anyone had a similar problem or do you recall having to reconfigure the
throttle
to fit the carb placement?
