There is a whole litany of stuff to do inside the door and it's fairly well
documented in various Bricklines and previous list messages. Use the index
on the BI web site and the archive messages. Vol. 10 nbr. 4 (Dec 85) p. 12
and vol 11 no. 1 p. 20 are good, although no single article is totally
comprehensive. Here are some highlights: weld nuts on the door above where
the hinge bolts come through, reinforce door with steel piece at corner,
install U-channel for window glass, repair window crank mechanism, install
plastic sheet to prevent water entry, and replace the wire coming out the top
of the door if damaged, since it is almost impossible with the skin on
(perhaps there is also better way to attach it). Anything else?
