TT based his opinion of elec fans based on a poor sample, a poorly fitted
single fan. This was highly premature. So the old saying of garbage
in-garbage out applies. The twin fans fit much better and do blow a
considerable amount of air, and they blow it where is counts the most, and
grab it from where it counts the most. While some of the mods performed on
my car are questionable, such as the Edelbrock water pump, the twin fans hit
pay dirt in a big way. Like I said, all I have to do is unplug them and
temperatures climb.

As to the scoop giving you a "cooler" entry into a traffic jam, trust me,
that would probably offer very little as temperatures climb very quickly.
Another disadvantage to the scoop may be drag at high speeds. Not that the
B is a knife in the wind to begin with, but it may make matters even worse,
affecting performance and gas mileage in a nominal way.
