I would not consider doing that. The main issue with the windows is using a 
linear regulator to force the window into an arc.  This is compounded by the 
way the window is attached to the roller channel.  You can soften out the 
arc by mounting the window on top of the channel, though this will cause it 
to roll down about an inch and a half less and by putting a little cant in 
the window versus the channel when you glue it.  Then there is no problem.  
But if you had a motor running that thing up and down I would expect 
problems. Also, there is not a whole lot of room in those doors for fiddling 
around. Pop those interior panels off and take a look at the window 
situation -- it should be easy and cheap to fix. Kim
