I finally looked up the parts that I used for my air door system.

I first changed all the compression fittings to 1/8" id "barbed"
fittings. I was able to find fittings with 2 barbs and some with 3
barbs. THe 3 barbs, obviously, work the best. Only problem I had was
at the pump. when I pushed the hose onto the barb fitting at the pum I
then used a wire tie around the hose over the fitting. THis secured the
hose onto the fitting perfectly.

I purchased a polyuerethane (sp) air hose. THe hose is extremely
plyable and does not kink AT ALL. THe hose I chose is rated for 300psi
and can be puchased from a company called Minuteman Controls. When I
changed over the these components, I have had VERY LITTLE problems with
my airdoor system. My air doors don't leak and are quite reliable. I am
currently using the vacuum pump under the hood. I will be changing to
the electric pump this spring.

I have 3 vacuum pumps and 1 rebuild kit for sale if anyone is
interested.

Please feel free to contact me on the air door upgrade. It really was
simple and works WAY better than the compression fittings.
