George, there are 3 ported vacuum switches on the '75. There is a 3 port
in the in the thermostat housing. The top port goes to the vacuum tee at the
rear of the intake manifold. The middle port feeds the distributor. The
lower port connects to a 2 port switch in the right front of the intake
manifold. The upper port goes to the EGR valve. The third PVS is located at
the left rear of the intake manifold. It has 3 ports. The top port gets
vacuum from the vacuum tee at the rear of the manifold. The middle port hose
connects to the heat riser. The bottom port is not used and the original one
had a small piece of foam on it(do not know the significance of this one). I
sent John Blair a crude drawing of all the vacuum hoses and routing and I am
sure he would not mind sending you a copy if you or anyone else needs one. I
made the diagram from the actual factory hose routings that were on a
untouched '75 that I owned,so I know they are as they should be. There are
several tees in the vacuum lines and the diagram should be most helpful in
sorting out where they go. Hope this helps.

  George
