My mom, dad and I survived the Monsoon of '95 in my
mom's Lotus 7. I remember that the course went
straight through a lake, and having to float across
it. The more speed you caught before the lake, the
more momentum you'd carry. Then, you had to cross your
fingers and hope that the tides would carry you to the
proper exit.
