The CP weight structure is:

V6 motor (Max 275 cu in)           2450 lbs min
V8 motor (less than 310 cu in)     2750 lbs min
V8 motor (310 cu in and up)        3050 lbs min

(Above numbers include 50 lbs for 12" wide wheels)
And the Corvair, the Talon 4wd etc.

Frank runs right at the 2750 lb weight, and I mean "right at"!

(Yep, the solid axle is probably tweaked as you indicate!)
