That is correct.  You can put anything behind the catalytic converter you
wish, as long as it passes sound.  You do have to retain a stock or OEM
replacement cat, downpipe, and exhaust manifolds.

So, if your car already has an aftermarket cat-back, you're okay.  If not,
you can get one if you wish.
