Well, I also previously ran SP8Ks, which are quite stiff, so I'm coming at
the RE71 from a different angle.

Behind?!?!?!  Peter, you and I kicked some butt last weekend.  I have no
idea why David and Dave were so far back...maybe they were giving us a break
or something...  =P
