Thanks from Derek and I to all who showed up and had a good time at the
AquaBowl (AKA SFR Practice Event). Conditions on the course were quite
variable during the day, since even marking the cones was impossible to do
until the break. However, except for a very few weenies who didn't do their
work assignment, it seemed like everyone made the best of it and got as many
runs as they could take. Hey, we Californians need the rain practice
anyway!;-)
Special thanks to Ben and Kristi for running Registration when they really
didn't have to (and for bringing the heater). Thanks to Chris for towing the
trailer ONE LAST TIME. And real big thanks to those who worked far more than
their share (Jim Ochi, Don Ebaugh, Arie Villasol, Katie Kelly, Nanda Holz, and
others I'm sorry to forget).
