So the Driver To Nationals selection committee read that Rick
cone is passing on Nationals due to Toyota "under engineering"
his Celica transmission. Or another words, Rick's tranny repair
used up his funds to afford Kansas.
Soooo......
.....the committee (me, myself, and I) decided that perhaps Rick
is someone who could use the DTN assistance program. I've met
Rick a few times and seems like I nice guy. I don't think he has
posted anything too inflammatory (or at least that did piss me
off). :^)
So Rick (this is where you pick up that courtesy phone), if the
funds became available, would you repeal your decision to not go?
We/he maybe in the heavy penalty phase (any SEB members want to
step in and see if we can get a waiver on the late fee, again if
Rick is able to go?), so that might hurt these efforts.
So we'll need to get everybody donating, on board, REAL FAST. I
am set up with PayPal via my email address.
We did this last year with Jim Crider. Jim eventually declined
and all funds were returned or transferred to the Team.net server
fund.
So do it direct, do it collect, BUT DO IT TODAY!!!!
