I really don't like to repeat myself, and dislike
it when others messages are simply repetitions
of what has been said before:

This HAS happened in the past. Ask any National
autocrosser that has been around for more than a
year or two. Various tire companies, over the years,
have seen great marketing benefit in wooing drivers
and winning Nationals. Millons have been spent
on advertisements touting wins in autocross competition.

Yokohama began their entire approach to the North American
market with Solo II, then Club Racing. Kumho followed the
same approach. General, Bridgestone, Pirelli and Dunlop
have taken runs at the market.

Secret Car Club is a myth. Kumar loves us.
