I'm trying to decide whether to get a NationalSeries or ProSeries license
for this season. I was in the Club Category the last couple of years, so
I'm automatically given a NationalSeries license this year. But I was
thinking of upgrading to a ProSeries license. I plan to do two ProSolos
this year (Petersburg and Harrisburg), and I drive an A-stock/P4 MR2 Turbo.

There are the issues of higher license and entry fees for the ProSeries,
better contingency possibilities, etc. However, my main concern is the
potential for making the challenge rounds. I have only made the challenge
once before, and that is always my goal at a ProSolo. Since the
NationalSeries takes 32 competitors for the challenge and the ProSeries
takes 16 and the fastest drivers should be in the ProSeries, it would seem
that my best chances for making the challenge would be in the
NationalSeries. However, there may be far more competitors in the
NationalSeries which could make it equally difficult. Any thoughts on this?
