GTech Performance Meter?

I've seen ads for GTech Performance Meter/Pro 
(http://www.gtechpro.com) which say it measures 0-60,g-forces, 1/4 
mile times and speed, HP, etc.

I was thinking of getting one as a diagnostic tool for my performance 
modifications. While they don't claim it to be as accurate as a dyno or 
the timers at a 1/4 mile track, I'm thinking it still might be useful. Has 
anyone used this (or similar devices?)
