Bill, I think the later brake booster Alpines are superior. I have owned
both early and late Alpines and I was impressed more with the assisted
brakes.

All dual tank Alpines and Tigers need to have the tanks rebuilt.
Apparently, there is black paint sprayed inside and it's flaking off. I
highly recommend a professional do the tank dipping and sealing with an
aircraft tank sealer (red material). I really don't trust the POR and
Kream products. I have seen these fail due to some circumstances (maybe
application error, I don't know).

If you are referring to the aquarium silicone sealer, than NO. I don't
think it necessary to use any sealer in/around the windscreen. If you do
need someting, I would use a 3M urethane base windshield sealer in the
rubber/glass channel.
