Stan:
What about replacing your mechanical pump with an electrical one?? I did that
with my '76.? It cost the same with installation, is unlikely to leak in the
future, and seems to work great.? There is a blanking plate that blocks off the
place that the mechanical pump used to go.? The electric pump is attached to
the frame.
Just a thought.
