        Joe:

        Uhhh... because it keeps us in stitches? Sorry. That was a cheap
shot.

        We drive them because we love the challenge of performing a
project with the goal being to keep the total cost down to less that 10x
the cost of paying someone else to do it.
        With the cost of the stitches included, it sounds as though you
are still under the 10x limit, although not by much.
        I, on the other hand, seldom meet the 10x cost challenge. <sigh>

The collar is right in the HVDA kit you say??????

<snip>

On Saturday morning, just as I was underneath the car
and honking on the last bolt to remove the flywheel,
it gave way and the back of my hand smashed into the
edge of the new floorpan. So it was off to the ER for
a few hours for some stitches to close the bloody
gash.

<snip>

Pent up energy had me back at it this morning and off
comes the flywheel. And if you've seen my other post
you'll know how that turned out - torn up teeth on the
ring gear. Time to order a new lightened one from
TRF.

<snip>

Why do we drive these things again?
