Id like to thank everyone for their advice on striping the engine bay. Im
using some Aircraft paint striper and it seems to work pretty well
especially at removing the paint. The problem is removing the tar that was
sprayed in there it looses it up and helps, but its still nasty! Its not
hard enough to chip out, and not soft enough (without the striper) to wipe
or scrape out.

Thanks again!

Im trying to strip the paint, tar, and undercoat from my engine bay and am
looking for any advice surely there is an easier way to do it.

Right now Im using paint stripper, a scraper and paper towels to strip it
and after 1 = cans of striper and a roll of paper towels I have one corner
most of the way done. IS there an easier and quicker way or do I just need
to struggle along with this?

I plan to try to remove some undercoating on the bottom of the car an in the
fender areas as well Im not looking forward to this!

Thanks,

Adam
