I'm still piecing together the information I have - receipts from 1980,
etc.- to determine what equipment and setups my 70 TR6 has. PO died 5 yrs
ago, car purchased from his widow.
The car is CC50051 L and the engine is CC50171E
>From the receipts, shortly after purchasing the car in 1980, the PO did a
complete rebuild of the engine and trans and added the OD (which was only
$500 then!) at 62,000 miles. Now has 84k, so I'm relieved there's only 22k
on the rebuild.
Does this mean the engine is from another car ?
Also, the add-on OD unit- is the J-type the most likely type that would have
been added?
