Overdrive badge

I thought this would be a simple job............. Nothing is ever simple!!
How does one remove the "Triumph" badge to put the "Overdrive" badge
underneath it? I was hoping for "nuts" behind there......... But even if there
were, no way to get to them :-(

Does it just "pry/pull" off? If so, how do you not chip the paint!!
