Al

I don't think Spicer makes a U-Joint that I know of for the TR6..... at
least not one of their "lifetime" u joints. I just went through this when
I was seeking the lifetime u-joints from spicer. These are the u-joints
that are pre-greased and totally sealed..... no zirk fitting.

I thought I found some spicer u-joints,but when I got them I found they were
"Hardy/Spicer. The u-joint was in fact made by GKN. These are decent
quality u-joints, but they do have the zirk fitting and they are not the
genuine "spicer" brand that Al is refering to.

I didn't want the Zirk fitting because it gets in the way when you try and
fit the bolts when replacing the half shafts and drive shaft. I am going
to install the u-joints without the fitting on, and then screwed on the zirks,
greased the u-joints, removed the fittings and then put the fitting back
on.

Here is a link to the Hardy Spicer website

Let me know if you find something different.
