 Robert,

When last I did this job, I used some synthetic boat trailer bearing grease.
Worked just fine and as a side benefit, boat trailer grease usually has good
resistance to "wash out"

Hello Listers,

New member here, first posting to the group...

I'm about to embark on a front end rebuild, the previous owner supplied with
me a slew of front end parts including the urethane bushings. I plan on
using these as they seem of good quality. My question/concern is the
squeaking some of you are mentioning. I'm curious about the silicone based
grease, will any generic part-silicone grease work? Or are there any
particular brands any of you have used and/or prefer?

Thanks for your input. Regards to all.
