Hey Jim,

I don't know about the new Bonnie, it looks sort of like the original, but
is gutless, only about 60Hp. All my old Norton's make as nearly much, or
more, in the case of the Combat Commando, and they're the real thing. If I
were going for a new Triumph it would probably be one of the sport models,
their style actually works with the modern components.
Sorry to everyone not interested in British bikes. Since I got my TR6, I've
found a lot of the guys I've know for years from Brit bikes, also have Brit
cars. We can continue bike discussions off list, if it annoys the others.

Ashford,

The new Triumph Bonneville would be my first choice for a street only
motorcycle! Powerful and light...as a motorcycle should be!

I like to trail ride as well! As far as I know Triumph has not imported
their 250 TT bike for some time...I don't think it's in production any
longer...for any market...I may be wrong! Let me know!

Jim

Get a Triumph bike.

Btw, saw the movie "How to lose a guy in 10 days" last night, and
Matthew McConaughey rides a, you guessed it, a Triumph. Bike not car.
