My block is completely stripped, I had a problem removing the soft aluminum plug located above the oil filter. I will let the machine shop remove what is left of this plug. Can you tell me why this plug is aliuminum? Is it some kind of heat safety plug? Can I replace it with a steel plug? Thanks, Wayne Ross Westport,MA 1973 TR6 |
