Hi,
Does anyone know how many brushes the petrol pump's had originally?. The
pump off my Mk1 PI (which is the original) has two brushes, but there is a
case for a third. There's a bit of copper wire (rats tail) hanging off the
brush case but no brush!!!. So I got a spare out (from a 71' Mk2), pulled
it apart, and found it had two brushes and a place for a third and a little
bit of the rats tail!!, identical to the Mk1's. But the manuals say there's
only two!!!.
Has anyone got any ideas??
