I just did the adjustment on my TR6, and the Bently manual calls for .010 in with the engine cold. However, I remember a heated discussion on the list awhile back with some claiming that adjustment

AFAIK, Triumph (like most car makers) always gave valve specs cold. If you can find a hot spec, use it; but if it's not specified, the safe assumption is that it's for a cold engine. As Mike Porter
