I'm not sure about input shafts and such, but the bellhousing is also different in configuration. Specifically, the GT6 starter is on the right side (Spit on left), and the slave cylinder on the GT6

The GT6 bellhousing pattern is WAY different from a Spitfire. I haven't checked the bellhousing-to-tranny pattern because my GT6 (Rest In Pieces) came to me without benefit of tranny. Silly me -- I t

Spitfires came with three bellhousings that I know of. Early ones were aluminum. I do not know if they are interchangeable with later trans and 1500 engines. I will soon find out, as I have the parts
