- Maybe. Maybe not. I can't imagine the manufacturer not testing for that, or selling the thing (for very long, at least) if it really did any damage to on board electronics. (Can you say, "lawsuit"?)

- No I saw it go off while attached and the field was very contained to the bar, Keep in mind a newer mustang has a whole lot more electronics than a roadster and he had cd player and amps running too.
