Just wondering if anyone has put triple SU's on a six, and if so, what the result was. Would three HS6's work? I've been thinking of doing it somehow to mine, but wonder whether its worth the troubl

Bob, I think that if you are going to all that trouble, Electronic Injection is probably more worthy of the effort. I was thinking about that very thing for my Spit 4 banger. Joe Curry '63 Spit

Better make sure that you've got the space too put in the SU... that tall dashpot may be too close to the hood. Hence the 'power bulge' on the TR4... Of course, if you're going to make a new manifold

Richard Good of Good Parts (in PA?) has made a manifold and linkage set-up which uses three Stromberg CD175's. There was a car at British Invasion that had this arrangement. It was certainly impress

Hey team! I was pondering the referenced idea and the following thoughts came to mind. 1. It seems that it would be a nightmare to fabricate a linkage setup for both the throttle, and the choke. Lord

Actually, mechanically, an EFI system is far simpler than carburetors. Mounting the sensors requires a little work, but very little thought. One can go either with tuned ports (more costly to fabrica

And better for the environment, too, most likely. I'd love to do the same, although I've also speculated on the possibility of designing pseudo-Lucas Mechanical Injection. Jim Ruwaldt '72 TR6 CC79338

That's where I am. I have yet to buy the manifold setup from Mr Goode (sp?). (My wife doesn't know I'm buying it!) (About $300) The "Tri-Carb" on the Austin Healey 3000 uses 1.5 inch SU carbs. This

Jim, That brings to mind a situation that happened to me in the early '70's. I aquired an engine that originally came out of a (I think) 63 Corvette. It was a 375 HP, 327. I tried unsuccessfully to g

Bob, You might want to try Richard Good of Good Parts. He manufactures a triple stromberg system for the TR6 which should work for three SU's. (Usual declaimers apply...blah blah blah) Richard Good R
