The references I have generally list CF27000 as being the 74 vs. 74.5 cutoff. However, I have seen various anomalies on certain cars which seem to have some (but not all) of the changes, making it s

Ken, I dont quite follow what you mean by "raised rear bumper". Do you mean "reaised front bumper"? FWIW, here are the changes as on my car CF25186UO (Aug 14, 1974): low front bumper (like early cars

I don't care what the reference books say. I am the original owner of 74 TR6 CF22767U, and it did not come with overdrive. It got one in 1983. Irv

I think that overdrive became standard on U.K. TR6's in 1974 but not on ones imported into the U.S. Bob

My 74 TR6 had rubber bumpers...ALL 74's did. We ordered a new 73 TR6 and by the time the order came three months later in Feb 74 it had the rubber bumpers. Have lots of detail pictures of that car..i

I heard a rumour that all post 74's had overdrive as standard but that on the cars reaching the u.s dealers mysteriously found that the od boxes were replaced with standard ones. The overdrives are

Another perfectly logical reason to hang on to CF37325U for another 3 Jim Davis Fortson, GA '75 TR6 CF38690UO '75 TR6 CF37325U(God (and maybe Honest Abe?) knows where the bumpers are.

Thanks for the note...if they DID build on New Years day, I sure wouldn't want one...hmmm...a TR6 with spitfire wheels in beer bottle brown. I don't think so.....and yes my build number was CF175xxU
