I'm not sure what's up with the wipers, but that UK plate undoubtedly has nothing to do whatsoever with a "1963" TR3B. It's a "G" plate, which puts it around 1969 (I think the "KV" in the first part

The registration number as I pointed out is from 1969/70 (the registration letters changed in August in those days and stayed with the car permanently whilst in UK) the car need not have been new to

Perhaps the engine bay is the only part of the car still sporting the original color? Otherwise, the commission number indicates that the car was built with overdrive, and indeed the 2.2 liter "TR4"
