Tim - I don't believe that you need to remove the "shear" bolts to take just the switch off as others have said, however if anyone wants to remove these bolts, here's what I did and it worked out AOK

Hi T.R. The shear bolts are EASY to drill out. You have to stand on your head under the dash, but, really they are soft metal, and once drilled come out very easy with an EasyOut or similar tool. On
