- Mitch--I did my veneer using HELMSMAN MINWAX, The first seven or eight coats applied with a brush, (drying between coats) then the final two coats using the same brand in aerosol, to cover the brush

- I refinished my '71 TR-6 dash, shortly after I got it this past summer. I opted to go to a gloss finish and stained the dash to match the custom wood wheel the PO had installed. The dash is gorgeous
