Or simply DA it first with a fine grit to rough it up a little and clean off any remaining residue. There is no other reason you should have any trouble with this. Pat

THere are a couple of possibilities for what is happening here. You may have silicone or wax or oil or some such thing embedded into the gelcoat somehow. or You may be getting something thru your own

I tried primer thru my spray gun and got fisheye. I sanded the glass and tried two different "Rattle Can" primers on the same surface. And guess what??? fish eye. I got an old piece of glass that was
