Nothing to with why it won't start but 9v on the coil cranking, but 11v on the coil cranking with a bypass wire going back to the battery, shows bad connections somewhere in the heavy current circuit

I haven't been active on the list for awhile, the V8 has been running great, no problems at all. I've been busy with the restoration of the house, the purchase of a TR7 beater / daily driver, etc etc

Someone please correct me if I'm out of line, but shouldn't Glenn be getting about 14 v on the + side of the coil? I have a sneaking suspicion that the coil's the problem, not the pertronix. My expe
