- I don't know what's going on with my electrical system. The drive to Shasta was great and problem-free. About two hours later I drove from the Roadster to the All Datsun event and on the way the car

- You didn't mention what type of alt you put in but it sounds like the voltage regulator is shot. I had that problem a while ago. Overcharge then undercharge. If it's a built in regulator then the al

- It's possible my new alternator is bad. It is internally regulated and is connected directly to the battery with an 8 gauge wire. Would the head of being under the exhaust manifold (stock location) b

- Could be too much heat as you said. The regulators are also regulated for temperature too so the voltage is correct when it's hot or cold outside. Unfortunately since it's a built in regulator it's b

- It very well could be the new alternator. Take it off and have it tested. Most places will do it free of charge-like Kragen's. When I put my single wire in I also put a volt gauge in under the dash

- Adam, First, thanks for for posting the Shasta pics. It really reinforces our intentions to make it again next year. We might even bring a 510 this time. As far as your alternator is concerned, chec
